After several trips to Copenhagen I can only say; Copenhagen you are so COOL!

Summer

Se que lo sabes, pero te lo recuerdo. Es verano, tiempo de largas tardes de sol, de comer helado, beber cañas y gin tonics, viajar o quedarte en casa, tomar el sol, usar protección, ponerte todo aquello que en invierno no puedes, enseñar las piernas y probar peinados nuevos. Es el momento de esa camiseta que no combina con ninguno de tus abrigos, de esos pendientes que por su tamaño serían inviables con un jersey de cuello alto. Da la vuelta a tu armario y reinventa!

I know you know it, anyway I tell you. It's summer, the time of long sunny evenings, time to eat ice-cream, to drink cold bear and gin tonic, to travel or to stay at home. Time to sunbathe, to use sunscreen. To put on everything you can not wear during winter, to show your legs and to try new hair styles. It is the moment for that t-shirt which doesn't fit with any of your coats, or those earrings that are so big that they can not go together with a turtleneck. Have a look at the clothes you no longer wear and make something new with them!

Live in your terrace!

Hasta que vine a vivir a Dinamarca pensaba que se necesitaban muchos metros cuadrados para disfrutar de una terraza, pero aquí se crean verdaderas maravillas en un simple cuadradito al lado tu ventana.

Yo soy bastante afortunada, y dentro de que mi terraza no es excesivamente grande, tengo el suficiente espacio para unas flores, una mesa donde disfrutar de cafes y largas comidas, y una indispensable barbacoa para las laaaargas noches soleadas de verano.

Por eso desde que llegó la primavera paso más horas fuera que dentro. En España las terrazas son un sitio para acumular trastos. En Dinamarca es el sitio donde absorber el mayor número de horas de luz antes de que llegue el oscuro y largo invierno.

Since I came to Denmark I realized that you don't need a big space to enjoy a terrace. You can create cozy spaces in a small square close to your window.

I'm lucky enough to have space in my terrace for a barbecue, a table where to have coffee and long lunches and ofcourse flowers and more flowers.

So, you can imagine that since spring I spend more time outside than inside. In Spain, small terraces are the place where people leave junk. In Denmark, it is where one´s takes advantage of all the light hours before coming back to the dark and long winter.

Wedding Weekend

Fin de semana de boda, eso es lo que toca. De de una amiga del alma. La boda es en Bilbao. Y ahora, desde el aeropuerto de Frankfurt, esperando nuestro segundo vuelo con destino Bilbao os dejo con un poco de inspiración de lo que al final será mi look para este día tan especial. No me caso yo, pero la siento casi mía :)

Friend's wedding weekend. Since long time ago I have been looking forward this day! Now, we are in Frankfurt, waiting for our next fly to Bilbao (Spain). And I will leave you here some inspiration about what my wedding look will be.

Aquí os dejo algunos de las ultimas cosas que he añadido en casa. Poco a poco se va pareciendo a un apartamento de verdad y no a la desierta caja de cerillas del principio.

Decor Inspiration

He regresado. Desde Dinamarca. Disfrutando de su fascinante sentido de la decoración. Antes de venir a vivir a Aarhus hacia tiempo que el estilo nórdico era "mi estilo". Pero ahora mas que nunca. Dinamarca es interiorismo. Lo simple junto a lo práctico. Es el reino de las tiendas de decoración. Sneakers con falda. Madera en todas sus versiones. Pastelerías de ensueño. Bares con encanto. Y por su puesto, bicis.

I'm back. I'm living in Denmark enjoying the way decoration is felt here. Now more than ever nordic style is "my style". Denmark is interior design. It is simplicity plus practicality. Decor stores. Wearing sneakers with skirts. The wood in all the ways you could imagine. Dream bakeries. Cozy snack bar. And of course, cycling.

Lomography camera

Con el frío cada vez más cerca, yo cuelgo mis últimos recuerdos del verano.

Las maletas ya medio hechas para marchar al frío intenso. Llevo meses preparándolo y por fin parece que se hace realidad, Dinamarca es mi próximo destino, nuestro, con la suerte de buena compañía, este es un nuevo intento de buscar trabajo, experiencia e independencia económica.

Creo que Dinamarca es un país fabuloso, del que tengo muchísimo que aprender, por eso me muero de ganas, aunque también de pena, "tu hogar", familia y amigos no caben en la maleta.

Tengo mi mente abierta de par en par mirando a mi nuevo objetivo, y mi corazón en manos de todos lo que dejaré atrás.

The cold getting closer, I post my last summer memories.

The bags almost packed to go to the intense cold. After months preparing it, finally it seems to come true. Denmark is my next destination, I mean our destination, I´m lucky to take great company with me, this is a new attempt to find job, experience and self-support.

I think Denmark is an amazing and exemplary country, from which I´m gonna learn a lot. Therefore, I´m looking foward to get there.

However, I'm also very sad because "your home", family and friends don't fit in the suitcase.

I have my mind open looking at my new aim, but my heart will be in the hands of all those who I have to leave behind.
